If you wear it, it will come...

Maybe that's not true, but I am definitely ready to breakout the shorts and dresses! I love some of the new items I'm seeing pop up in stores and catalogs. Here are a few of my favorites (just a few)!

spring fashion 1

I was in Janie and Jack recently and thought this red short set was adorable! There website really doesn't do their clothes any favors.

Are you shopping for spring? I haven't started yet, my hope is by the time I'm ready to start shopping this items will be on sale (or even more on sale - some of these are on sale already).

Warm Winter Days

Last week the weather was beautiful. We spent the days outside. It is amazing what a little sunshine and fresh air can do for a change of perspective.

Grandpa picked up a baby swing for KC so she could join in on the fun. Although she loves digging in mulch just as much (she adores textures, as long as they aren't in her mouth).

Grandma and Grandpa stayed the weekend. They saw N's first basketball points and made our game of tag even more fun. N always has a hard time saying goodbye (and that boy is a kisser).

On warm weather days we walk home from school. It's N's favorite way to get home. T claims it's too far, but I think secretly he likes walking there and back.

As the warm weather dwindled so did my good feelings. I spent the rest of the week fighting a sore throat, chills, and aches (and unfortunately Chris is crazy busy at work and arriving home between 10 and midnight before heading back at 6). I am really grateful for two little guys who offer to help as often as needed, don't mind frozen pizza, playing extra video games, or watching an extra show or two (although I hope they don't think this is the norm).

We woke up this morning and T threw up right when we needed to take N to school. Let's hope it was a fluke and the rest of the week is full of recoveries! Winter either needs to move on or snow!

A Day in Pictures

One of my favorite bloggers to follow is Missy at PinkPistachio. She has two boys and a girl on the way and is a former teacher. Although that's pretty much where the similarities end because she's gorgeous, has great style, and is quite a talent behind the lens. (We taught at the same school for two years and my students always told me she looks like Barbie, which honestly she's prettier).

My absolute favorite post series she does is called 12 Hours. It will be your favorite too, check them out here (link). I wanted to try and recreate it (with my own spin of terrible iphone pictures). Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
