I've been working my tail off to get our house ready to go on the market. I'm exhausted and drinking more coffee than ever. Chris has been working like crazy so it seems the times to get things done are during nap time or after bedtime. Which is really cutting into my viewing of The Office.
Speaking of getting our house ready, I never want to paint again. We will paint our final room this weekend (the biggest). We will have my parents come entertain the kids. We managed painting two bathrooms and our dining room while the kids were asleep or napping, and I'm so excited for the help this weekend. Also thank you to all home bloggers - sea salt at 50% is bathroom perfect. I tried to pick colors that were popular and neutral and it looks so good!
My favorite hometown children's clothing store starting selling their final sale items on instagram. Now I don't have to ask my mom to stop by all the time. I scored this yesterday!
A blogger posted about this candle and it's amazing. Such a great find. I wish I could remember who mentioned it!
I really really really wish the Panthers had won the Super Bowl. I loved this team. They were so fun to watch. I am completely baffled by the media storm over Cam's interview. I get they wanted him to say more, but who cares. It has definitely led to some good discussions amongst our friends about professionalism and it's role in athletics. I hope they come back next year with the same drive and enthusiasm. This city changed for the month of January and it was wonderful to feel like we were all together in something (even something trivial). This was my favorite meme from the entire game - for obvious reasons.
And this made me cry, it was so sweet. What an great view of the players as people and not media personalities.
I'm dreading the kids valentine ordeal. I'll have to drag them to the table to write their name and then deal with the candy that comes home. We used to make super cute Valentine's for them to give out but with homework and school we just don't have the time (or I'm just making excuses and don't want to do it on a weekend). Two years ago it snowed and we made Valentine's on Valentine's Day - perfect procrastination (I don't think I'm getting a snow day this year)!
I hope you're having a good week! I'm linking up with Natalie and Annie for Thoughts For Thursday!
