Five on Friday: Baby Gift Bundles

Thanks for the comments yesterday. I completely forgot how fun it is to come home after being gone for some time - that is definitely a great moment to look forward to!

Today I'm linking up with the Five on Friday crew! I love a baby shower, but even more so I love snuggling a new babe. Once a baby has arrived, it's always fun to visit, snuggle, bring a meal or maybe a fun little gift. I have a few go-tos (and a few we have received) for new babies I thought I would share 5 of them:
Baby Gift Bundles

Little Wild Thing - I gave this most recently and thought it turned out really cute. Sophie is a must in our house and so we love to give a Sophie as well. The BabyLit Jungle Book is so far my favorite BabyLit book. The pictures are stunning. And these Little Me PJs are ones all my babes have worn (you can't go wrong with Little Me).
we are never without Sophie

Girlie Girl - I love giving monogrammed diaper covers. They are kind of impractical which makes a great gift. I'm also a Pride and Prejudice lover so the BabyLit book fits in perfectly (Goodnight Mr. Darcy is a great choice too, but it can't be eaten). Trumpette has the cutest sock choices and I always think a new mom could use socks (Grandmas are always telling a new mom to put socks on the baby and so the more socks around the less searching for socks that fit). I also noticed that I haven't bought any socks for KC, we have some hand me downs which work great, but when shopping socks are usually a last thought.

Bath Time Bundle - I've mentioned personalized bath wraps before and how much I love them. Anything soft and snuggly is a win! We are also huge California Baby fans (my 7 year old still uses to avoid the screaming when my Say Yes To Carrots shampoo gets in his eyes).

Organics - I have a friend who is really up to date on health items, foods, lotions, you name it. She's my go-to with questions and she's due any day!! When KC was born, part of her gift was an organic farm buddy which KC LOVES. There are so many adorable choices and they are all so cute (and they rattle). When she delivers I plan on giving her little guy one (maybe the raccoon) and a set of organic Hannas. I love the kimono style for newborns. Plan Toys are great too so there might be a little rattle in there as well.

Purely Practical - These are three of my favorite things. The Nosefrida is finally going mainstream but it is such a sleep saver! I love giving as it a gift and seeing the reaction when you tell a new mom how to use it. It may sound gross, but it works. Honest diapers pretty and practical, not many diapers can qualify as both. I was reluctant to jump on the Aden and Anais bandwagon, but Chris loved the ones a friend had and she gifted us some when KC was born. I am now a card carrying bandwagon member. I will say the bamboo ones are much much better than the regular ones. KC is still swaddled and only the bamboo will fit her now. I also love they are lightweight enough for the summer.

Also if there are older children, I love a little activity for them - usually a sticker book. We received a Thomas the Train sticker book for N when T was born and we'd sit and do it while I nursed T. It is one of my favorite memories from when T was born.

I'm linking up with Natasha, Darci, April and Christina today for Five on Friday! So glad this link up is back (and there's a giveaway for joining up)!!
