A Kid's New Year Celebration
We are planning a little New Year's Eve get together with some friends to ring in 2015! A couple years ago with celebrated with friends and it was so much fun. It tends to be a holiday that kids don't get to participate quite as much in, so we decided to make it early and fun. I ordered a new Just Dance for dancing. We stopped by Party City for some goods. And I just read Netflix is streaming a ball drop that's 3 minutes long which gives us a countdown.
Here's a little of what will make up our celebration:
We even plan on balloons dropping from the ceiling! The only thing that may spoil our plans is a sick kid - so fingers crossed.
Ringing in 2012
Are you celebrating New Year's? Waiting till midnight? And, who eats the traditional New Year's meal on January 1st - I've only done it once.
Love this! We will likely pass out way before midnight. If by traditional New Year meal you mean, black-eyed peas and cabbage... Definitely!!!Fingers crossed for no sick kiddlings!!
ReplyDeleteI love this - especially the fake ball drop countdown! And the balloon from the ceiling. How fun!
