Weekend Review

Happy Monday!! Technically it didn't snow over the weekend, but since this was a once in a decade thing here, will you humor me with a few more pictures? This was the perfect snow - three days of gorgeous flakes and by Friday afternoon it was melting away.

Our tradition is hot chocolate and pancakes on snow days. I made a lot of pancakes and hot chocolate last week. 

 We took a walk around our neighborhood and I couldn't help but think how it looked like a snow globe.

 We had to retire our sled because it went WAY TOO FAST (I may have seen T flip over our hose holder when the sled hit it, a screen may have also been broken one time when the house was hit). Daddy worked just as well as any sled - as did their own tummies.

 Actual weekend activities included making the Valentine's I completely procrastinated in creating, reading Junie B Jones and the Mushy Gushy Valentine (it was finished in one day), running all the errands we missed last week, and a quick trip to the library. 

I hope everyone had a great weekend (and is maybe even off for President's Day - N was supposed to be off, but now it's a make up day). This week will be like a double week for us with everything from last week thrown into this one, but the good news is it's going to be close to 70 this week. Hello sunshine!!
